CLOSING PLENARY
Organised by European Health Forum Gastein
Our plenary sessions this year will look at the politics of health in the EU and its Member States, considering the past, sounding out the present, and testing the future.
This year's Closing Plenary will build on the main discussions and first-hand outcomes of the conference to offer a debate with high-level policy-makers that commences with a European focus before opening out to encompass a global perspective.
We will first review the conference discussions about the role and importance of health on the European agenda, before broadening out to address the interface between European public health and global health. Along the way, we would also like to consider how to navigate some of the intransigent, system-level challenges to good health and well-being. We will question whether the health community needs a new focus:
