What is the EHFG?

The European Health Forum Gastein (EHFG) is an annual conference that brings together stakeholders and decision-makers from the public and private sector, civil society, and science and academia, to discuss key health policy challenges in Europe.

Where and when does the EHFG take place?

The EHFG 2026 will take place from 29 September to 2 October in Bad Hofgastein, Austria. It is a hybrid event, allowing both on-site and online participation.

Who can attend the EHFG?

The EHFG brings together a wide range of stakeholders, including policymakers, researchers, health professionals, NGO representatives, and key public and private sector actors - offering a valuable networking platform for all in health policy.

Can I submit a session proposal for the EHFG 2026

Yes, the call for session proposals is open until 16 March. You can download the form here

How can I participate in the EHFG 2026

You can participate either on-site in Bad Hofgastein, Austria, or online. Registration for the Forum will open in summer. 

Is there a participation fee?

On-site participation is subject to a fee, while online participation is free. Detailed pricing information will be available once registration opens in summer.
