Travelling to Gastein

BY TRAIN

The European Health Forum Gastein (EHFG) is located in the village of Bad Hofgastein, easily accessible by train. To help with your travel planning, here are some important details:

• A free of charge shuttle service is available from Bad Hofgastein train station to the conference venue. To ensure your pick-up, please enter your travel details in our registration system.
• Bad Hofgastein train station has excellent rail connections with information available via ÖBB, (75-minute journey time from Salzburg, and 180 minutes from Munich).

BY PLANE

Salzburg Airport (2 hour airport shuttle)

• Regular free of charge shared shuttles are in operation between 28 September and 2 October. Please enter your travel details in our registration system to secure your pick-up.
• Meeting point: EHFG Welcome desk at the arrivals gate.

Munich Airport (3-4 hour airport shuttle)

• A very limited free-of-charge shared shuttle service will operate between Munich Airport and Bad Hofgastein on the following dates:
  • 29 September: Shuttle to Bad Hofgastein departing at approximately 11:00 CEST
  • 30 September: Shuttle to Bad Hofgastein departing at approximately 11:00 CEST
  • 2 October: Return shuttle to Munich Airport departing at approximately 14:30 CEST
• Meeting point: Starbucks, Terminal 2 (Level 3, Gates G & H), with an EHFG sign. 

Vienna Airport (4-5 hour airport train)

• Travel by train from Vienna Airport to Bad Hofgastein train station by booking via ÖBB.
