In 2010, the Young Forum Gastein Network grew to 160 members. 71 young researchers and officials from 28 European countries working in the field of health were invited to attend the conference. Various events were scheduled: apart from actively participating in the general programme, a Young Forum Gastein networking workshop and specific working groups took place. Lively discussions and fruitful exchanges marked the meetings between the scholars and EU Commissioner John Dalli and the Director General of DG ‘Health and Consumers’ Mrs Paola Testori Coggi.
