Shaping the Future of Health

On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the European Health Forum Gastein EU Health Commissioner Markos Kyprianou, Salzburg Governor Gabi Burgstaller and Austrian Chancellor Alfred Gusenbauer talked about solutions for the future of health at the plenary session “10 Years Gastein – Shaping the Future of Health.”
In 2007 the Gastein Forum celebrated its 10th anniversary. Under the motto "10 Years Gastein - Shaping the future of health" main aspects of European Health Policy were discussed from 3 to 6 October 2007 with the delegates in order to develop potential solutions for the future. Those participating in the event included senior policy and decision-makers representing politics and government at EU, national and regional levels; business and industry; health care funders and service providers; civil society; as well as experts and researchers in health care and public health.
