Recovering from the pandemic

A wake-up call for a well-being society?

Wednesday, 30 September 2020 | 11:30-13:00 | Main Stage

Organised by European Health Forum Gastein

The EHFG 2020 Opening Plenary will host a progressive, future-focused conversation with eminent voices from the disciplines of political science and economics, who will then be joined by high-level representatives from government and administration at national and European levels.

How can we balance the concepts of well-being, democracy, sustainability and economic stability, especially in light of the devastation wrought on European societies by the COVID-19 pandemic? This session will explore models, concepts and visions that could help us rethink priorities and build a coherent framework that facilitates a come-back as stronger societies and systems, while we chart a course towards the 2030 SDGs.
