Networking Break
Friday, 29 September 2023 | 11:15-11:45 | Conference Centre
As economies transform into data-centred structures, so do our healthcare systems. With this change, comes the key challenge of investment modelling to ensure health priorities and needs are met. How can health systems better address the issue by utilising big data analysis?
During this networking break, we will discuss the possible data tools that can help support the acceleration of impactful investment. As a decision-maker and stakeholder in health, you will have the chance to share your ideas and provide examples from the systems you work with, and have the opportunity to discover those already explored and implemented in Poland.
One such tool already used in Poland, the Map of Health Needs, provides key stakeholders with unbiased data to support the decision-making process, including investments on the national and regional level. The Map of Health Needs tool models the current health system status and forecasts the possible changes in upcoming years. The health system is broadly analysed, starting with demography and epidemiology, then proceeding to out- and in-patient care, before concluding with human resources and infrastructure.
