Blockchain is surrounded by hype, especially in large global markets like health. Navigating the gaps between high expectations and reality can be challenging for policymakers and business leaders alike. The EHFG is organising a one-hour breakfast primer session to shed light on what’s really possible for health with blockchain - without the hype.

We will examine uses for blockchain beyond the most well-known (such as cryptocurrencies), have a practical demonstration of the use of blockchain technology and discuss healthcarefocused country case studies of blockchain use. Even at this time of the morning, we´ll engage participants, getting you involved by asking questions and discussing the current state of play and examples of the use of blockchain technology in your own country – so come prepared for interactive discussions!
