Ursula contributes to the programme development of the annual EHFG conference, working closely with partners, session organisers, and speakers. In addition, she leads projects and develops formats that address key priorities in the Austrian public health sector.
She brings over 20 years of experience across academia, non-governmental organisations, and the public sector. Ursula holds Master’s degrees in Medical Anthropology and in Social and Cultural Anthropology, with a longstanding focus on gender, diversity, and health.
Before joining the EHFG, Ursula served as Regional Coordinator for Migration Health at the International Organization for Migration (IOM), covering Europe and Central Asia. Her professional background spans research, extensive field experience in Europe, the MENA region and Sub-Saharan Africa, as well as programme coordination, teaching and training, and strategic advisory and leadership roles.
