Paul Zubeil is Deputy Director-General for European and International Health Politics at the German Federal Ministry of Health, leading and innovating global health strategies and policies in areas such as pandemic preparedness and global health threats. He is directing the G7 project division to advise on and strengthen the global health architecture and prepare for future health emergencies. His international career spans over 20 years and has focused on developing and streamlining sexual and reproductive health programming, partnering with UN agencies, Governments, Civil Society and other development organizations to strengthen health systems and governance, and advancing universal health coverage.
