Sanja Šišović is a seasoned public health advocate and activist with over a decade of experience championing global health equity. As President of the International Youth Health Organization, she leads efforts to promote meaningful youth engagement in health policy and program development. Her career began as a health youth educator in Montenegro, and since then she has coordinated national and international initiatives addressing HIV/AIDS, mental health, reproductive health, and non-communicable diseases. Her work centers on empowering young people—especially those with fewer opportunities—to become agents of change in shaping inclusive, forward-thinking health systems.
