Travel to Gastein

Bad Hofgastein can be reached by a direct railway line from Salzburg (90 minutes) or by taking a train to Schwarzach-St. Veit and then making use of the EHFG shuttle service to Bad Hofgastein (please refer to the air travel section for details).

Arrival at Salzburg Airport
Salzburg is the airport closest to the conference venue. 
The EHFG welcome desk is manned from Tuesday, 4th October until Thursday, 6th October. An on demand shuttle service is in operation between Tuesday, 4th October and Sunday, 9th October. 
Transfer time is approx. 90 minutes.

The shuttle will be automatically booked for you if you complete and return the relevant form provided by IFG sufficiently in advance. You may book your return journey during the congress. In any case please reconfirm your departure time from Gastein with the shuttle commander.

Arrival at Munich Airport
Individual transfers from / to Munich airport can be arranged by the EHFG for a charge of Euro 180.- (one way) or 300.- (return). Please contact the EHFG office for further details and to book your transfer. Transfer time is approx. 150 minutes.
