Bad Hofgastein can be reached by a direct railway line from Salzburg (90 minutes) or by taking a train to Schwarzach-St. Veit and then making use of the EHFG shuttle service to Bad Hofgastein (please refer to the air travel section for details).

Arrival at Salzburg Airport
Salzburg is the airport closest to the conference venue. The EHFG welcome desk is manned from Tuesday, 2nd October until Thursday, 4th October. An on demand shuttle service is in operation between Tuesday, 30 September October and Sunday, 5th October. Transfer time is approx. 70 minutes.

The shuttle will be automatically booked for you if you complete and return the relevant form provided by IFG at least three days prior to the congress. You may book your return journey during the congress. In any case please reconfirm your departure time from Gastein with the shuttle commander. Please contact the EHFG office if you require further details.

Arrival at Munich Airport
Individual transfers from / to Munich airport can be arranged by the EHFG for a charge of Euro 160.- (one way) or 280.- (return). Please contact the EHFG office for further details and to book your transfer. Transfer time is approx. 180 minutes.

A scheduled airport shuttle is operated between Munich and the Gastein valley by a private taxi company at the following times:

From Munich: 08:00; 10:00; 12:00; 14:00; 16:00; 18:00; 20:00.
From Gastein: 04:00; 06:00; 08:00; 10:00; 12:00; 14:00; 16:00; 18:00

Transfers cost Euro 70.- (one way) or 130.- (return) and can be booked at www.gasteintaxi.com.
