Social Programme
The EHFG offers a social programme with excursions taking participants to various sights and tourist attractions in Bad Hofgastein, Salzburg and surroundings.

Gastein is located at the entrance to the National Park, surrounded by the Hohe Tauern Mountains. More over, Salzburg - Mozart’s home town - is within easy reach from the Gastein Valley.
The EHFG has put together a mul ti-faceted Social Programme which will make it easy for you to fully enjoy your stay in Gastein. The programme includes a choice of guided tours and ex cursions so that you can get to know the region and its history.

- Berchtesgadener Land
Discover the scenic and historic Berchtesgadener Land in Germany, with its unique alpine National Park and the legendary mountain ‘Watzmann’. The Kehlsteinhaus (‘Eagles Nest’), a famous vantage point, offers visitors an overwhelming panoramic view stretching up to 200 kilometres. Nearby is the Obersalzberg Documentation Centre – the museum is close to the Berghof (Mountain House) and has multi-media exhibits on the use of the area by the Nazi leadership.
- Dolomites Round Trip
As a powerful peak the Dolomite Alps rises like a limestone island amongst a dark sea of granite and gneiss in the regions Trentino-South Tyrol and Belluno. “The most beautiful mountains of the world”, “the queen of the Alps”: These two statements make clear that a drive through the Dolomites offers a unique adventure. Those who once climbed the massive of the Langkofel definitely agree on that, enjoying the great view at the Sellajoch or admiring the bizarre world of the Dolomites on top of the Col Raiser.
- Salzburg and its historic district – an unique treasure
The city of Salzburg, in particular, its historic district represents one of the most beautiful spots on earth. This has been internationally recognized through the inauguration as UNESCO World Cultural Heritage in 1997.
