It is an open forum – everyone who reads the blog is invited to comment and discuss.
The European Health Forum Gastein is a major health policy event in the European Union and a meeting place for leaders and experts from different stakeholder groups of the health system. As such, it is fundamentally different from events specialised in highly restricted areas.
The EHFG attracts yearly approximately 600 delegates, coming from all over Europe and beyond, representing public and private sector, science and academia, and civil society.
It was founded in 1998 with the aim of providing a platform for discussion, and has since then into a key event, bringing together:
– politicians from regional, national and EU levels
– senior decision-makers and representatives from public and private sector, science and
academia, and civil society.
