Workshop: Neighbours networking for health Wednesday 1 October 2008, 09:00–12:00
The value of northern and southern networks for developing and advancing health policy
Health, peace, prosperity and stability are important aims. This workshop will demonstrate the added value of two regional networks for health contributing to the achievement of these aims.
The Northern Dimension Partnership in Public Health and Social Well-being (NDPHS) is operating since 2003 under the Northern Dimension Policy. The South-eastern Europe (SEE) Health Network was established in 2001 under the Stability Pact. Both networks provide cooperation platforms for joint actions of EU and non-EU countries, as well as for international and intergovernmental organisations.
